200th anniversary
In October of 2025, Bath United Methodist Church celebrated its 200th Anniversary. The church was first established in 1825, during the early years of Methodism in our state. During our Bicentennial celebration, we enjoyed music from the era that the church was formed, viewed artifacts and photographs from the history of the congregation, observed Homecoming with a message by Rev. Beth Hood, assistant to the bishop of the North Carolina Conference, enjoyed a fellowship meal, and buried a time capsule.
